Can you tell what’s going on here?
This evening, after a morning full of elementary school classes and a free afternoon, I headed into town to meet Katie, Evan and our Japanese teacher. After our lesson, Katie and I headed to our usual Tuesday dinner place. Just as we were leaving I realized I hadn’t taken a photo yet. Katie (who is also posting a photo a day on her blog here), noticed the reflection of the main street, Okaido, in this cafe window on the left. You can see the reflected image of the 7eleven and the taxi’s waiting outside. A young man sits at the cafe window watching the people walk by. The image of the man walking and talking on his cellphone past the 7eleven is reflected back to me from the window the young man looks out. This is a typical Tuesday night scene downtown Matsuyama.
